"The staff was wonderful, very helpful. The food was outstanding both the complimentary breakfast and the restaurant's choices. Especially liked that printed items were written in four languages--Latvian, English, German and Russian. (Good translations too.)
If one has a car or takes a taxi, the hotel is conveniently close to tourist sights and shopping. We took a bus--it took 20 to 30 minutes depending on time of day to get to Vecriga area. We enjoyed the bus rides and seeing the people. And RIMI is only a 10-minute walk. Wonderful place to come back to, to rest and get ready for the next days travels."
